We are a couple that our friends affectionately call Helinho and Verinha or Helim and Verim, Verelinho or, more formally, Hélio Marques and Vera Marques. We are from Minas Gerais, and lived in São Paulo for twenty years, working in IT, Advertising and Anthropology. We returned to our homeland, Belo Horizonte, lived for a while in Portugal and had also lived in the United States. We are always on the road and doing what we love most: traveling.

It is no exaggeration to say that we are “compulsive travelers”. The proof is that we have been traveling for more than four decades, visiting more than fifty countries in Europe, North America, South and Central America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Brazil, of course.

We have crossed the Sahara Desert by bus, leaving Cairo for Tel Aviv, escorted by the Egyptian army. We have driven along the Skeleton Coast in Africa, slept listening to the roar of lions, and eaten and drank things that no one would believe.

We went on several expeditions, including an off-road trip to Chapada Diamantina, southern Africa, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. We went on an expedition with friends to Tierra del Fuego, and there we decided to continue on alone to Alaska, aboard our Land Rover Defender 110, on a trip that lasted a year and a half.

Finally, we have seen the "Top of the World" and the "End of the World", we have traveled thousands of kilometers on foot, we are from the world. Each trip is a learning experience, a feeling and a way of connecting with each other, with people and with the world. We are nomads, we are nomads... and our motto is that "dreams are to be lived".
